Dr. James Kowal and the staff at Life Worth Living, PC makes use of technological advances in psychotherapy and neurotherapy to help people overcome difficulties associated with anxiety, depression, autism, attention deficit and hyperactivity, traumatic brain injuries and concussions, migraine pain, obsessive thoughts and compulsive behaviors, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress (PTSD), complex PTSD, memory problems, learning disabilities and cognitive problems.
Our practitioners are board certified in advanced psychotherapy methods, neurotherapy, and are experts in traumatic stress. They use innovative trauma methods such as; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Holographic Memory Resolution (HMR), Thought Field Therapy (TFT) / Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Clinical Hypnosis, Internal Family Systems therapy, VieLight technology, HeartMath, and other methods in the treatment of mental health issues.
We provide individual counseling, psychotherapy, and neurotherapy sessions to help individuals achieve meaningful and fulfilling lives. Group sessions are also available.
Our office is located on the north side of Naperville, IL, near I-88, in the western suburbs of Chicago. We are in network with most mental health insurance companies and Medicare.
